Please note these are estimated costs only, program costs are subject to change. Students may be billed up to $200 more from the listed advertised program cost.  

The UA Program Cost includes costs incurred if student travel is permitted (pending University approval). The program cost includes housing, excursions, and assistance to students in Italy. The remaining items (non-billable subtotal) listed are estimated costs students will incur while abroad. Note: The flight is not included in the program costs; however, flight suggestions will be provided to the students in the event they would like to travel together.

If students are unable or choose not to travel for the abroad portion of the program, students will not be responsible for the UA program cost, health insurance fees or any other travel-related expense. Students will complete the program virtually and still be responsible for the full UA tuition and fees for 12 credits.  

Students participating in study abroad programs will be billed UA tuition and fees based on a number of factors, including residency status, number of units offered in the study abroad program, and the guaranteed tuition rate.

All students participating in a study abroad program will be enrolled in mandatory international health insurance and billed at a rate of $3.00 per day.
